Medecins du Monde Turkey (MDM-T) / Dünya Doktorları Dernegi (DDD) is a Turkish based humanitarian non-governmental organisation that facilitates access to healthcare for populations affected by armed conflict, violence, natural disasters, disease, famine, poverty and exclusion.
Our organization collaborates with partners and key stakeholders to implement projects that facilitate access to primary and secondary-level healthcare services to respond to the medical needs of displaced population.
DDD is the 16th member of the Doctors of the World International Network that is committed to meeting the health needs of vulnerable people globally.

EXPECTED PROFILE
Knowledge & Qualification
· Essential recognized nurse degree/diploma
· Desirable Bachelor in Science of Nursing
Experience
· 5 years of previous experience as a nurse, and previous experience in other NGO’s
· Demonstrable experience in supervising and training others in a team setting
Languages
· Required: Arabic (oral and written)
· Preferred: English
IT & Equipment
· Good proficiency with Microsoft package
· Intellectual & Physical
· no mobility disability
Capacity Building
· He/She has a desire to develop his/her own abilities
· Attending medical courses
· Closeness to beneficiaries
· Experience in dealing with patients Kindly
Communication & Information flow
· High level in communication ways with patients

RESPONSIBILITIES
Main Responsibilities
· Nurse will be responsible to check all patients depending on DDD Treatment protocol .
· Filling Medical papers
· Reporting
· Other related tasks
Function Details
· Applying DDD treatment protocol
· Know, apply, and make sure universal hygiene standards. Ensure asepsis rules during all nursing cares. Ensure quality of the sterilization process.
· Ensure that patient privacy and confidentiality are respected
· Perform injections whenever needed and according to the doctor's prescriptions
· Perform wound dressing when required and according to the standard of hygiene and medical precaution and suture the simple cutting depending on the doctor’s explanation.
· Take vital signs for all patients in sharing with nurse assistants
· Filling patient files in nurse file in sharing with nurse assistants depending on manager explanation
Do triage for patients
· Take the weight and height of the patients less than 5 and only the weight for more than 5
· Malnutrition scan for all children between 6 months to 5 years.
· Carry out when necessary, education of the patient (and family)
· Filling medical papers
· Filling DDD files depending on direct line explanation
· Write the treatment on prescription depending on direct line recommendation
· Filling tally sheets forms, outpatient’s form, referral forms, referral registration and daily morbidity
Reporting
· Provide a mission report and/or handover document at the end of contract.
Other related tasks
· Any other related DDD tasks as assigned by supervisor/line manager.

As applicable to the position, maintains a clear understanding of Dünya Doktorları Derneği and donor compliance and ethics standards and adheres to those standards. Conducts work with the highest level of integrity. Communicates these values to staff and to partners and requires them to adhere to these values.

Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards within Dünya Doktorları Derneği and amongst beneficiaries served by Dünya Doktorları Derneği.
